Will I want a sidekick for my 8 GPM?

Working on a new build, and am planning to upgrade to 8 GPM from 4. I’m keeping my 4 to use on a separate rig. My question is will I want a lower GPM option as well? I mostly do siding and decks. Is 8 GPM too much for certain jobs?

I only wished I had a 4gpm one time this year; I was worried about stressing a person’s well pump. Ended up not being a problem at all, they had a 10gpm recovery rate. In the end, it takes the same amount of water to rinse properly, only difference is how long it takes ya

It would be nice to have one for surface cleaning and the other for rinsing as you go along. Or have the 4/4 apply bleach mix at a lovely 10:1 and rinse with the 8.

I have both on my trailer and use the 4 about 10% of the time. Nice for decks and fences as sometimes an 8 just too much water. And as @dcbrock said, nice if you need a stronger mix and don’t want to bother with the 12v or if just a small house.

Hmm, I really appreciate the feedback. I just ran reports and it looks like were only doing 25k in powerwashing per year, so maybe a 5.5 is all I really need for now.
