Whisper Wash Classic Problem

I bought a whisper wash classic 20" two nozzle about two months ago, and have only used it on 5 jobs. On the last job I started to get rings (see picture) as if the water wasn’t coming out the correct way. I took the nozzles off to make sure they weren’t clogged. Any thoughts? I am in my rookie year of pressure washing professionally…

Turn it upside down and make sure it spins freely, if it does remove nozzles and run water thru it with nozzles removed to make sure nothing is restricting flow. If all that checks out good take a tip cleaner and make sure nozzles are clean and reassemble with nozzles tightened in the right direction. Should be good to go from there

We need some info.

Machine GPM/PSI
Tip number used (ie 2502 etc)
Speed you are walking

Are the tip slots oriented parallel with the bar? Did you verify the clogs by flipping it over and stopping the bar with your boot while hitting the trigger?

Actually it’s a pretty fancy looking pattern, you should offer it as an upsell…

My money is on the tips being clogged. I know you said you checked, but I’d check them again. As stated, pull them off, clean them really well, and run water through the bar to make sure all sediment is flushed out throughly before putting tips back on.

To lay down that pattern he’d have to be practically running with that surface cleaner.

Clogged tips

i use a filter ala pre-pump, and that takes care of that issue of junk in the line. i
occaisionally will get Teflon in tips.
tho.

Thanks so much for everyone who took the time to reply. The problem is solved. I think my surface cleaner works better (and doesn’t leave that pattern) when my downstream injector isn’t hooked up to my machine. That and walking in super slo mo, seems to have done the trick. Hope everyone has a productive week!
