It’s roughly 18 by 27 I’m supposed to go look at it drive has grass and I’m thinking it’s surface cleaning along with resanding and sealing I’m in south Florida and I’m just getting started I’m at 850 to 1000 without looking at it curious where everyone else would be or should I say am I kinda on point any feed back would be great…grass all in pavers…

That is way more than 18x27

I’m sorry this is the measurements guy sent Its 18 wide in the beginning and opens up to about 27 in the car port area and is around 75 in length I mistyped it so I don’t really have an exact square footage yet sorry about the miss info @florida_condo_cleani

Let’s assume it averages 25ft wide and 75ft deep.thats 1875 square ft. I would be $1875 for clean sand and seal. With the products I use it would cost me about $900 in product and labor to do the job.

I told him between 850 and 1000 and that was for surface cleaning and sealing and him buy material now if I had to resanding price would be more but I figure 850 to 1000 just for the cleaning and sealing am I kinda on point with that figure @florida_condo_cleani

Never let the customer buy products or pay you upfront.

Cover all cost upfront and build into billing.

@Patriotspwashing thank you for informing me of this so my idea price is definitely wrong then I’m guessing

If he is bearing the cost of sealer then it seems about rite . But why is the customer buying the sealer? Each sealer is different and the application varies a little. Just an FYI even cheap good sealer is $180 for 5 gallons. Good sealer is $250 for 5 gallon. That driveway doesn’t appear to have any sealer on it. Figured doing 3 coats for good appearances.

Customer said they would by sealer I told them to get but I can purchase it

You really need to find a sealer you like and stick with it . This is the only way you will be able to control the outcome. And make happy customers. Switching sealer is like a painter switching brands. You get to know a product really well you know how to get the best out of it. There are 1000 brands of sealer out there but there are only 2 I will use . Not because of any other reason than I know what the outcome will be and I know it will make the customer happy

I used seal n lock for years . It was good and had good customer service. Now it it the opposite. I had 2 deck that I had to strip and reseal because there product failed within a few days. And they were the biggest pos to deal with when it did . There company was 15 minutes from the job and they did worse than nothing. Those a$$ holes send out another sealer company as tech support. It was some guy that gets payed in sealer to come figure out we’re the installer messed up . He could give no reason but could only say it’s definitely not the sealers fault. What a schmuck . I wouldn’t by there crap again if it was almost free. Cost me almost $3000 to strip and reseal the decks with another product.
Buy ureseal 150 kit . It is much better. Seal n lock is about $200 ureseal is $250 . Seal n lock has no warranty. Ureseal does. Seal n lock last 12-24 months. Ureseal last 3-5 years . Out of the 100 sealing contractors I know only a few still use seal n lock pretty much everyone I know switched to ureseal. The endless horror stories of failed seal n lock is overwhelming.

This is one of the failed seal n lock jobs I striped and resealed. The white spots got worse every day and you can actually see my boot print in one of the pics. It seemed like something was wrong when I was spraying it but I couldn’t figure out what it was. This sealer never made it past the surface it cured almost instantly.

I guess this is pretty popular down there. Its very interesting.

Pavers are everywhere around here. Everything is built on a swamp. Concrete driveways cracks. Pavers just shift a little know body notices end less it gets bad.

I’ve started using sealers from 3i Suppply with great results and excellent customer support, You might want to contact Mike Killgore at 3i and ask him. They not only sell the products they still have a PW and paver sealing company so their knowledge is hands on verses “they told me”. They are doing a 2 day paver stripping and sealing class in FL next month for 75.00. I was going to go but i’ll be in SoCal.

Do you have info on this class. Sealers are changing so much I would love to keep up on new stuff

Mike Kilgore’s number is (717) 420-1377. I think the class dates are 14,15 Nov. They have a FB page 3i Supply Paver Sealing Supply -Contractor’s only that has a lot of good gouge on it They are also distributing for Wood Defender stains in FL now too.
