So im doing the whole door hanger thing to kick off my marketing campaign. Just wondering if there is any specific places I should visit to solicit my company commercial wise ie. Dealerships, construction companies or even some neighborhoods have hoa offices. I was looking to visit some local residemtial hoa offices to talk to those guys. Any advice would help.
I can only speak for our area, the HOA’s do not have independent offices, the HOA’s are run by Property Management companies that manage multiple properties. Compile a list of the ones in your area and do a mailing. We did a nice letter and a half page flyer that we sent out.
Our letters introduce ourselves to them and basically tell them that we can provide them with quality service that can save them and their HOA’s money. Not all HOA’s can afford to do all their homes in a given year but we offer them an annual maintenance program that allows us to come in and do a block of homes and also offer other homes in the neighborhood that would like their home cleaned more often a discounted rate on the days that we are in the neighborhood.
We are sending our first batch of letters out this week, the companies manage over 200 individual HOA’s. If we can get a few contracts out of that, then there is a good chuck of change coming in on an annual basis.
