Where on Earth do I buy a 20mm threaded to hose barb?

I’ve been trying all day to set up an oil drain tube on my gx690 and have now realized I need a 20mm threaded piece. Lowe’s only carries inch size pieces. Where do you go for metric pipe fittings?

i get it from local hydrolic company, NT.
Thats how i custom made draining hoses over 2 feet long

Yeah of course I can buy it online. I just think it’s ridiculous that Honda would use a thread standard that isn’t readily available at your local hardware store. Why not just use a comparable inch based thread.

I bet it’s readily available in Japan.

Sometimes when you buy a foreign branded engine you gotta be prepared for metric. Just order off the inter webs. No big deal.

I just attach a piece of air compressor hose to the end where the cap screw on. It fits perfectly. If your machine is mounted to a wood boards drill a small hole so that you can run the hose through the hole and into the oil pan.

Try Northern Tool.

custom made mine for 2 feet or 3 feet I forgot
one for the oil on the engine and another for the pump

You guys change your oil ? Jk…kinda

Only after the first 50 hours on the pump and then when the engine blows. :grinning:
