I am using an X-Jet M5 I was told not to worry about the proportional colored inserts but 5 gallons doesn’t last very long. I dont want to go post crazy but I wonder if there is a maximum length to the feed tube for the X-Jet.
I guess I will have to start another post for that at least I will that much closer to 10 posts so I can send a PM
UPDATE
My 1st job with my X-Jet M5 and Home Brew Vinyl Siding Cleaner went pretty good. The only issue I didn’t like was in some spot there was a white residue? It wiped off and I ended up rinsing again I think it was from using Dawn Dish Soap to make the mixture more soapy.
I know from house cleaning Dawn can leave a residue but the algae and black mold all disappeared. I finally found Chlorine that was labeled at Lowes. I thought if it was a hazardous substance it had to be labeled? The best I could do in short notice was 8%.
If anyone would care to comment on my recipe I would love the feedback. I know next time I am going to use something that wont leave the residue.
4200psi 4gpm I know everyone is laughing but you have to start somewhere
X-Jet M5
5 Gallon Container
1 gallon of 8% Chlorine
1 cup of Simple Green
1/3 cup of Dawn
1 cup of Zep Citrus all purpose cleaner
10-15 mins dwell
I cleaned the house and the driveway with a 20" BE H.S.C.
There were what looked liked lots of rust spots in his driveway and part of the sidewalk
Does anyone know how long you are able to run the solution line for the X-Jet? I had about 12’ and it was pure hell, can I go 30’?
5 Gallons is way to small I was thinking of a 30 gallon tank on a cart for cleaning solution enough for the entire house about 1800sf’?
PLEASE FEEL FREE TO COMMENT ON MY ABOVE I AM SURE THERE ARE SOME PEOPLE THAT NEED TO TAKE THEIR FRUSTRATIONS OUT ON SOMETHING…LOL
I don’t see kitchen sink listed on there.
The white residue could have been oxidation.
Should have just used the built in injector or buy a hi draw injector. 3 gallons sh, 2 gallons water and a squirt of dawn would have cleaned the entire 1800 sq. ft.

Definitely buy the professional soap now that you are not in a pinch. I like elemonator from pressure tek but I’ve heard good things about others as well.
Good luck from here. And really, buy the injector. You will love it.
The stuff people told you to put in your mix was just for in a pinch, didn’t need to all be combined together, and probably won’t get as professional results.

Elemonator is the best stuff ever invented.

2 too 2 1/2 gallons 8%
2 1/2 too 3 gallons water.
3 to 5 ounces of professional soap
Change your proportion valve, 5 gallons will do most houses easy.
I have 50’ hose on my X-jet no problem.

Unless you live in the state of WA or Buffalo NY I don’t think you can avoid working/washing in the son. What does everyone do about dwell time. Unless you have a true static phase in your system of washing, as long as your spraying water soap or no soap there is no dwell. With the hotter climates such as TX, FL, GA, AZ do people truly let there cleaning mixture dry on a house and re-wet it when rinsing?
I know everyone is gonna yell at this question is the dry white residue just soap residue?
Thank YOu Everyone For There Input!

If its really hot, I will rinse to cool the surface, mostly windows, then house mix, then rinse again. All good!

I prewet 99.9% of the time, hot or cold.
Idk why, just read somewhere that it’s best to and what’s it hurt besides an extra 15 seconds?
For me it’s not hot/cold, it’s rather whether the sun is shining directly onto the wall or not. If it’s in a shade, in don’t worry about pre-wetting to at all.
