What I have and where to put $$$?

Thanks for the suggestions. I do have a local hydraulic fitting store. I did not think of that, I will check with them today. Again, thanks for the info, It is making this come together much more smoothly and with less trial and error…

If anybody is interested in trading for PW equipment… I’m out of the plowing business now and will be removing sanders and plows from 4 trucks like this to sell. 3 M931 a2s, 1 m925 a2 and a Stewart Stevenson m1083. They make great toys…

Ohhh man that is a sweet plow buggy!

Why you quitting the plow business??

I have not figured pricing out yet, once apart probably 6 to 7k range for the trucks. Getting out of plowing due to VDOT restrictions and reductions in hourly pay. Had a blast while it was good and made very good money, but its heyday is over, time to move on.

Here is what I have so far. Working on plumbing right now, but everything here is a result of reading this forum and others. 12v 7gpm and diaphram plus one more reel with flexilla will be here tomrrow. One 55 gallon drum as buffer, 1 for sh mix. 1st reel is for 200’ of hose, 2nd is for 200’ high pressure 3rd will have 200’ of hose for soft wash. This forum is great. Planning on making money with this and turning it back into another build. I already have a few other things collected for next build.

The only thing I would question is the reels. Personally I would weld a bracket up for them and reinforce the bottom to some good strong angle iron or a flat plate under the trailer. The weight of them being up and the energy transferred while towing it makes for some big stress factors. Seen a lot of air hose reels and welding reels break from people not reinforcing. Just my opinion. Keep on keeping on with your build.

Thanks for the suggestion. They are lag bolted from the floor and to the metal rail. I will keep an eye on them. Does anyone have suggestions for plumbing fitting supply places? I have hit both the tractor supplies near me and they are disasters as far as fittings go. I am willing to do it on line, just would like decently fast shipping. Thanks.

PressureTek. Super fast and super simple to navigate there website, even for ole farts like me. Also were do you live. If you got a Menards near by ,I highly suggest them for a walk in brick and mortar. Blows TSC,Lowes and Home Depot out of the water

Thank you Hotshot, checking now.

I added some above. Edit. Lol,

Thanks D Perez, and looking up menards now.

No menards near me…

Northerntool does have some nipples and bulkheads, clamps, and I think ballvalves. Alot of times their shop has parts in the back and their alot cheaper than whats on the floor, such as stainless quick connects. And great beginnings!

Thanks to Hot Shot I got my plumbing almost done, also have paid a couple visits to Pressure Works in Fredericksburg, he has been great an will be getting my business when possible for sure. Next is wiring the soft wash pump. Wouldn’t be anywhere without the info on this forum… Thanks gents.

Where did you get the idea to put the 55 gallon drums sideways? You sure it’s mounted safely and won’t leak?

Just seen the picture that shows what they’re sitting on. Did you make those?
