I hear thumbtack is a gas war and iām pretty sure craigslist isnāt much better. I donāt believe any of my best customers have used either.
When i made my statement earlier, I wasnāt speaking about going door to door in neighborhoods. Try introducing yourself to those who can open many projects to you or put you in front of many of their clients (realtors, property managers, etcā¦).
Nothing in advertising is instant. most advertising requires a farming approach where you present your brand frequently. Perhaps you should narrow your focus, not spread yourself around too thin and try some repetition. Im guessing when some of these guys mentioned you arenāt doing it right this may be what they meant.
Iām not perfect at it but iām learning how to generate responses. Be creative and put yourself out there to get what you want.

Rock hill right around the corner from me, I am in Balytine area, I do not go to rock hill to far (20 miles) I usually see maybe 4-5 at the most pressure washers a day, so I say thats not bad. You have been in this business to long not to be on the first page of google for ārock hill pressure washingā maybe you are not aware of how important it is, but that should be your main focus IMO I searched the first three pages and could not find you. I promise this is your main problem IMO. 6 months at the most you should be on first page, start planning for next year now!!! One year is nothing for someone that is serious about building a professional business, one year is a long long time for some one looking for a quick fix to get some party money.

Hello all, Iām fairly new to this business. I found that doing a groupon deal helped me get on the first page of Google for my area. It also generated a lot of calls.

The best thing for you to do is come up with something completely unique to your company that people would benefit from and call some of your customers and ask them if itās something they would be interested in. So now you have done some market research and you can gauge how good of an idea it is and then start offering it and advertising it to the public if it got a good response from your customers.

Ask your existing customers if they are willing to email you a customer response to the work you performed. Real customer testimonials are a very powerful marketing tool on a website.
Yes testimonials are a great tool for your website best way to build your business is to have your customers working for you do quality work look professional have the proper insurance and charge fair prices. We found sites like Groupon do help you generate leads but you lose to much company and attract the wrong kind of customers. However starting out it helps you become known I would not use it long term
