Washing trailer camper

Trailer camper has some algae on it. Would you 2 step & brush?

If it’s just some algae wash it like a house and rinse really well.

Does it have stickers on it be very careful with house wash a non caustic truck wash is what I would start with

What makes you think it’ll mess with the stickers?

Years ago we decided to clean our trailers at the firehouse I sprayed house wash on them it turned the red stickers pink

House wash mixed worked great. I forget what color the stickers were although I was fortunate not to have any problems

Customer down the road from me wants me to wash his camper. Fairly new with just some green on it. I believe its painted aluminium. Thinking of just spraying weak house wash mix and brushing the bumper and grill then rinsing. @Hotshot ever done any campers?

I told him ive never washed a camper but i would happily soft wash it for him its pretty small and he is close by so it would likely be priced under my “minimum”. Ill also be passing right by him tomorrow on the way home from a job. I also told him i have no clue how to price it but ill shoot him with a price after i finish and figure out how much chemical i use and time it will take.

I dont really want to wash it but he has got me a few jobs and his just a nice guy in general.

I soft washed mine this year to see what life is like on the other side of PW. BTW ,Snooze fest. Lol. Turned out great. Painted aluminum siding just like the one you described, mine was a little oxidized ,I HF the wheels and bumper and tongue, degreaser on the tires make them look nice ,I also did the roof.@grizz

Ok cool im just going to soft wash the camper. No aluminium brightener(HF) or degreaser on the tires. He is probably taking his camper out Wednesday by the timeline he stated and ill have a hour or so tomorrow when i finish so ill do a good deed and soft wash his camper tomorrow on my way home. Probably dont even need to hook up water.

Washed this last week. Used normal house wash mix and cleaned up nice.

That’s right. This camper was my cousins who lives down the dirt rd from me. He works at a local lumber company and got me lumber at cost for my building so it was a freebie.

Did the camper after i finished a stucco house. Was on the way to give 2 estimates. It took me 20mins total setup till take down. He was so happy and thrilled that he gave me a tip too. He didn’t leave me a review when i did his house but he told me he was leaving me one tonight for sure. I swear people care about the little things more than anything else.

Used my regular mix sprayed it all even had a ladder mounted to the back so i sprayed it too. Would have took pics but was in a hurry.

You better be careful @Grizz washing things on wheels. Next thing ya know you’ll be a half crazed :honeybee: washer like me…

Id rather make the easy money. Yall got to many acids, brushes, weird upside down surface cleaners and on and off guns but then its probably easy money for you. I wouldn’t know where to start.

I don’t do well with Mr or Mrs harry homeowners. I honestly would be at the soup line if I had to do what ya’ll do. Give me a gravel parking lot with a bunch of greasy dirty Peterbuilts ,Go away and leave me the hell alone, come back when it’s over and give me my check.
