Vinyl lettering?

Anybody have a recommendation on a site to go for custom cut/sized vinyl?

Im going to be going with a basic vinyl lettering on the truck. 2 Large phone number spots (one above out 275 ibc tote on the tunnel box and one on the front of the truck) 2 custom door vinyls including our name, something like “Professional cleaning contractors” (i dont really like the word contractor, fly by night messy guys pop into my mind so feel free to suggest a different term) and the phone number again. Also a decent sized banner with our website.

You’ll save money and time if you can find someone local. All the online sites were more expensive than just taking my truck to a local sign company when I did my F250. Local companies that are affiliated with national sign companies are expensive, but independent sign companies are much more affordable. Also gives you a chance to network with a business who very well may need your services.

Good Point. I was only looking to do it myself for the simple fact our truck doesnt need to be registered/insured for another month and id like to start setting up. But id also like to have my lettering on before the equipment goes on for easy of access especially for the stuff we will be putting on the tunnel box. We used a local guy in the past who charged us around 450 to do vinyl on our cargo van and it wasnt the best job. Super basic also

I do vinyl work on the side…cant do banners but decals i do all the time. id be more than happy to draw something up for ya to see fonts/colors etc. if ya send a pic of your vehicle i can overlay it on as well. if youd like to see some of my past work go to Redirecting...

if you are interested in anything i say let it be this…dont use vistaprint for decals or magnets

You said you cant do banners?? A lot of these vinyls will have to be large like 70x12

The shop I used sent me proofs first with it pictured on my truck. I did big letter website on the rockers and name, number, website on the back window. All less than $350. All the online sites I went to were the same, or more, plus shipping and I would’ve had to install it. I can guarantee they would’ve been crooked if I did them.

Same here hahahaha. You should see me putting a simple screen protector on my phone.

Thanks ill checks some local places out still got to get the truck first lol 00R0R_43VAjmCueaV_600x450 00E0E_8cWf2pcM7E2_600x450 00Q0Q_cAhZj3pkMQx_600x450

Correct. I do have a 24 inch vinyl cutter, not printer, so I can cut letters out of solid stock but cannot print colors onto a plain banner. I can do 70 inch decals, it depends more so on how comfortable you are applying them yourself. If it’s not a solid run, iwith smaller words we could cut them up into smaller parts that would be easier for you to apply. I do that quite frequently for people to have me ship to them.

I would almost attempt this on my Sprinter, but if it went on slightly crooked, I am certain my sweet, loving wife and my mother-in-law would let me know it. They’d ride that one till the wheels fell off. Never mind some of the pictures my wife has hung in the house…I just try not to let my ocd get the best of me lol!

I used pixeldecals.com for my Jeep. They also do custom decals as well

…and a little dish soap :+1:

If you are close to me you can drive over and I’ll put them on. I’m sure someone on here is somewhat close that would help. Many videos on YouTube on how to put them on easily and straight.

I did my whole truck and it was only a couple of hundred dollars at a local shop. They did in thirty minutes what it would take me several hours to do. It’s definitely worth paying to have done

You will need a measuring tape, masking tape, pencil, razor, hard squeeze, scissors, spray bottle, Youtube and a little patience. But you can do it.

My full time job is at my families sign shop. There are places like ours all over the country. Swing in to a local sign shop and let them take some pics and measurements or your truck. They should give you a fairly accurate estimate up front. They can take the pictures and actually draw it on your truck for you to see before approving. Banners will be super easy for them to do and if you want to save some time and headache, let them install the decals on your vehicle. Online can be a joke, not to mention you’re helping feed local families and the service should be top notch
