Vendor suggestions

Looking to buy a 8gpm 3000-3500psi cold water skid. I’d like Honda and gp. Pressure pro is fine by me or any other brand. I used pumpoutlet for my hot water machine but I can’t seem to find what I’m looking for with them. Reasonably priced with good shipping time. Anyone buy one recently? suggestions?

Call me tomorrow if you get a chance

Will do.

Have you checked with your local landa?

I’m not trying to spend Landa money. 3500 is the budget for this.

@Harold I can get you 8gpm 3000psi. Are you a pwra member?

I’ve heard really good things about the owner of this company (TJ), though I don’t have experience with Comet pumps. https://mpwsr.com/store/p16/B-K8030HC.html

It seems when buying ready-made skids you’re stuck between whether a genuine Honda muffler is more important to you, or a steel skid frame. I know people don’t trust aluminum, but it seems like lots of people run them without the issues people fear. I’ve only been doing this a couple of years though, so my knowledge is way more reading than it is actual experience with the products.

No I’m not but I probably should be. I have a few prices from different companies but would like to have one from you as well. I can become a member. What are the dues?

@Harold

I’ll pm you in the morning with the quote.

Bought a new Hydrotek hot water skid from L&H in January. They were about 1600-1800 less than the 3 other places I called, and it even has the stainless frame, the others did not. Took 4 days after order to arrive via freight truck

$99 at sign up gives you membership for one year. $99 every year after for renewals. :slight_smile:

Where’s the link to sign up?

I just talked to l & h. They quoted me $2300 for Honda and 8gpm 3500 comet. I wanted a GP pump but at a 1000 difference I might go with comet. I’m surprised at how low they’re priced. You were right. Thanks for the link I have them working on a quote to replace the pump with gp.

You could buy the pump seperately for $1k, and have 2 pumps.

That’s a great idea.

Holy smokes. It’d be hard to build one yourself for much less than that.

My thoughts exactly.

As bad as a general is, the comet is worse.

I put 400 hours on my general in 5 months. No issues. Ran it dry a few times :man_facepalming:. My 5gpm machine has a comet and it’s been used about the same(no hour meter) and no issues. While you say they’re garbage it’s working for me. Surely not the best of the best but I accept that as a trade off for the price difference. I could buy three pumps and a machine for the price of an udor with landa. Which would surely out last one udor. I’ll start running landa and udor when I get some hoa contracts lol :wink:
