This may be a stupid question, but if I change out my pump for a slightly higher psi/gpm pump, but it’s a 1450 rpm pump, vs my current1750 rpm pump, do I need to over size the pulley on the pump to slow it down to 1450? Would this work or am I just wishfully thinking? I’d rather not blow up a brand new $500 pump.
Looks like you’ll need a pulley about 1" larger.
