Upgrading 688cc Honda GX630 OHV Pump

Hello everyone
hope you all doing good, this my first post and I really need help so I can go ahead and close on buying a nice rig.
The trailer has 688cc Honda GX630 OHV 4000 psi 4 gpm, my question is can I upgrade the gpm to 5.5 or higher?
will appreciate any help .

Must be northern tool, that’s the only setup I’ve seen at least with that combo. If it’s not hot water then yes you can, if it’s hot then nope, the heater won’t handle more GPM

Thank you for helping, yes it is hot MI-T-M Burner Fuel Cons 3.37 gph, BTU Per Hour 471,800

I’d research that heater and see what gpm it’s rated for.

I upgraded from a 4gpm to a 5gpm on the same burner… Works good! I do notice it burns more diesel to keep the temps up… But does just fine! I can pop gum and degrease oil shops! I have heat to spare

How is 5 working for you, I’m in to residential now , thought going up to 5.5

I love it! Made a huge diffrence. Faster cleaning for sure! In the future I’d like a 6gpm machine… I do mostly residential and I would imagine 6 is plenty… Some homes have poor drainage and the backyards puddle fast!!

If you are doing residential, you don’t need heat. Cut the coils off, put a 6 or 7 gpm pump on it and wash some houses

Is it a CAT 4gpm direct drive pump? As someone mentioned here I’ve seen those at Northern Tool. If you’re planning on doing commercial then I’d stick with a pump that the burner can keep up with. If not like IBS said put a larger pump on there…you can easily swap a 6-8gpm pump on a gx630
