Eventually doesn’t pay the bills my friend.
As long as u charge by the hour ur golden
For the record, I would never consider running a mondo on a 4 gpm machine. As I’ve stated elsewhere, I run a 8/3500 and the 28" Big Guy is the largest I run on that. I really didn’t get the impression he was trying to sell me anything, I felt more like he was driving home his point about dispelling the 4" to 4gpm standard-which I still consider sound reasoning for any kind of cleaning efficiency, btw.
Not a “salesy” kind of guy, just happy to talk about pressure washing and equipment.
UPDATE:
I must admit, while James with WW is nice and knowledgeable, I thought the “tighten the hardware” bit was BS. It was not. I did exactly that, took the 90 off, and now it floats well. Not amazingly well like a 19 on a 8gpm, but well. And the 90 being gone sure helped that hose not be in a bind. I even tried back and forth with. 2.5 lb weight, and it is better with nothing at all and tight hardware.
Also, and this is important, the concrete I have been testing this on does have a pretty rough aggregate. I believe it will glide even better when it’s on some smooth, finished concrete.
TLDR; tighten the hardware down tight on the SC. It will make a difference!
Keep it clean!
