Unexplainable issues with brand new pump.. help!

You started it, deal with it.
you always ran people off with your comments.
You want a different reaction, be nicer.
If you cant then don’t comment.
He asked for a legit question, you did what you always do.

Ok so let’s try this again…

Would the overly high oil level in this pump, cause it to lose pressure and quit when it gets warmed up and going ??

It looks as if they may have overfilled the pump oil. Overfilling the pump with oil can cause seal failure. The little air gap at the top of the oil reservoir allows for thermal expansion of the oil as it heats up. When the oil heats up and tries to expands it can exert enough pressure on the seals to cause failure.

I don’t want a different reaction. He asked what was wrong. We all told him. He isn’t ready to be working for money with his knowledge. You are a thief, liar and provide your underage kids with alcohol. You don’t need to be here either. The people that are offended by my comments probably shouldn’t be here. Don’t like my comments, don’t read them

Do you think it’s too late to drain the oil down ? Or do you think it already ruined something ? The oil does not appear to be milky (at least right now) but it kind of did when the pump was hot.

Why not give it a try

Drain some of the oil out and see if that fixes the problem. After that, have your kids bring you some fresh beers and call it a day.

You could try that.

I shall try brother. The machine didn’t run for too long until that happened, but then after it cooled down it started working again before it quit again. So hopefully it didnt do permanent damage.

I’m thinking if it ruined a seal, maybe it would be leaking oil or water somewhere ? I dont see any leaks though. So I’m hoping it just needs to be drained out a little.

If you bought it locally I would take it to them tomorrow. You don’t want to give them any reason to say you attempted a repair and voided your warranty. But please follow up on here and let us know the outcome

Yes do that

I was going to say the exact same thing. Since it’s so new don’t touch anything and take it in tomorrow morning. A lot of times the warranty will state that it will be voided if you try and repair at home. I don’t see how they could refuse to repair it.

Every time I buy a new tool, I think it is broken for some reason. 99% of the time, there is something else going on. Until I figure out what that is, it’s just easier to tell myself the new machine is broken.

It’s probably something stupid like a kink in the hose or some sand in the inlet screen.

I pulled the dipstick out of my machine while it was running today becuse the sun has warped my fragile little mind… @Innocentbystander how come @anon82972966 has his name as jesus crypes… seems distasteful. If I can’t say @#$% or *^%$ then he cant either!!! Also I’m 95% sure I have chemical burn and I’m going to look like 2 face in the morning. So hows your day?

Yup

If it was up to me he would have been banned immediately for the vulgarity. Lots of pot stirrers like him come and go and we have to deal with them. The language I don’t like. Just keep flagging his post and @steve or @squidskc will take care of it. Ikii cat is about all the drama we need at any one time lol
