As the title says, trying to put new packing into ez4040g general pump. Ive rebuilt quite a few cats and the brass fitting always came right out when seperating the head… One brass fitting did seperate when pulling the head the other 2 no dice. Any ideas on how to get the brass fittings out with the tool? One of my machines lost quite a bit of pressure and we have a decent size job coming up at the end of this week.
If you look under the pump there should be a notch you can use a screw driver to gently pop it out from
