What size/gauge tubing is that? Looks to be about 1/4" thick. I build gate frames with 14ga and they’re pretty stout even with a 6’ span. I was using 1.5" 11ga but those were heavy. I dig the tote rack. You staying busy?

I admire the hustle, but you can’t turn out work like that and expect to get more customers. Cap of the tubes, use your square, practice till you don’t leave air pockets.

It is quarter inch and with the weight I went back and forth on the thickness with the rails and ladder rack etc and it’s in a 8’ bed so I will definitely think about dropping size down next go round…yes staying busy how about yourself?

Honestly 14 gauge should do it. Especially if you added angle in as bracing on your ladder racks. I plan on building some racks soon on my trailer. I want to make a lay out table where I can work off of and have everything flush and level. Oh I will say the thinner gauge can draw somewhat from the heat. I had one torque on me and plus I didn’t realize I had my tubing slightly twisted . Looks like a good hustle. Fencing side of my business is busy pressure washing is slow but I honestly don’t advertise for anything most of my business has been word of mouth. I have noticed a large jump in pressure washing businesses around my area.
