I’m working on my new build… I gave a 8gpm skid coming this week and I’m looking for any ideas for a layout. I have the following big items to account for. Thanks guys for you input!
4gpm wheel unit (direct drive)
100 ft garden hose for ^
1 hose reel (high pressure)
2 hose reels with stack kit (for 8gpm)
1 35 gallon SH tank (in pic)
8 gpm skid with hot water
2 19 inch surface cleaners
Future add one
SoftWash kit
Ladder rack (coming couple weeks)
Hi, I’d recommend having your gas tanks on the same side as your towing vehicle, preferably up front so you don’t have to move the trailer after filling up your vehicle
And also have your reels on the back of the trailer so you can pull the hoses “down the street”
Also have a free open surface area facing the curb where you can work on, folks like putting a vice there too
Be sure to balance the weight properly on the trailer
Probably over the axle, then the buffer tank and 4gpm in front of that
How big is your buffer tank?
335 leg tank.
It’s not too much tongue weight?
No I have my sh and hose reels on the back, keep my Surface Cleaner in the middle everything is balanced out great,I always leave about 50 gl in tank also
