Trailer built update

I was doing some flat work last week and pre treated the driveway and rear area I was washing. As I made my way back to the driveway I noticed blue marks on the driveway from my blue hose (eaglewash I think the brand is). Luckily I was cleaning the driveway and it washed off. Needless to say I will not be buying blue hose again. Made me sweat for a sec when I noticed the marks.

Never experienced that

I have the same hose, just doesn’t say eagle wash. It’s almost like a powder. You can sweep it away. Weird and kind of annoying, but hose holds up great and slides around corners better than any United hose I had.

Yea it was the first time it happened and made me a bit nervous for a second… good to know I can sweep it or wash it away easily though. Only problem I’ve ever had with it.

Trailer is looking good! We are thinking about upgrading to a dual axle trailer this year. We purchased a single axle last year and are out growing the weight limit.

Ty
I already ran out of space.

Next.
I will plan on rinsing at 12gpm.

Won’t you have to run oversize hose?

Uhmmm…
Dont know.
Prob
Maybe run a 0080 or if it exists.

Damn… why did you ask…:rage:

I was under the impression that 8.5-10 is all you can get through 3/8 hose. Could be wrong, happens daily!

I think you right.
I think i have read that anything over 10gpm requires 1/2 hose

Back to research…

I don’t feel like lugging around 1/2 inch would be worth the 5 min it saves per house. It’s also asking a lot out of the house to provide enough to the buffer.

In my area houses struggle keep up with one 8gpm. That’s why I haul a load of water between jobs.

Dragging 1/2 hose around is dragging you unconscious friend out of a bar. It’s ok for short runs but gets really heavy after 100 ft or so.
I believe 3/8 can flow up to 12 gpm you just not going to have any pressure left . It’s very noticeable even with 10gpm . It feels like a 2 barrel carb on big block
