You can use a piece of metal or if needed plywood as a temporary skid. Not ideal but it will work for bridge solution.

I’ve seen other pics but didn’t download them. I totally get the bootstrapping thing and think you are 100% on the right track. Do what you have to get going and then upgrade as soon as possible. It’ll all fit. It WILL be crowded. It’s a trade off. More space versus not dealing with a trailer. You can do it.

This will be my back up machine if i find i can make a decent income doing this. I will upgrade to a better machine. Ill definitely have it on a skid but id like to just keep the wheels on this one incase id ever need to take it off the trailer(not sure why i would but you never know)

Thanks for all your help im going to look around at some guys setups and get started hooking all this up!

I had custom made stainless steel skids built to mount washer below and reels on top.

When you run out of room build up…about the only thing you can do. If you wanted to you could mount your reels to the inside of your tailgate and make sure your jumper long enough.

Get to job open up tailgate and boom there’s your reel

I was thinking of that too. But im going to wait till i get the ladder rack. Im pretty sure i can mount them upside down on it. That would be preferred for me. Hopefully by next year i can get a trailer.

Welp. Looks like im going to need a dremal tool or something.

The hole on this banjo is alot bigger than what came on this tank.

just from looking that’s a large tank for the bed but maybe just from my eyes. you showing a plumbing lay out if its a 4gpm machine can you just run from spigot of house.

just until you get your trailer

Ya its a 65 gallon was going to put a hudson flaot valve on it it which would only fill me to about 50 gallon thats why i went alittle big plus im going to use this tank for roof mix once i get a bigger machine if its still good. Ive live in the country by a lake. There is alot of houses ran on wells around here. @anon82972966 has had some bad experiences with wells. I bought this tank brand new for $138 a smaller one would cost about the same so i went for it. I think ive got it setup where ill like it. Been moving stuff around seeing what way will be the easiest for me to access it all. Its gonna be tight.

Im died in the water right now i forgot i needed to make some holes in the tank. Got to grab me a dremal tool or something tomorrow. Im just trying to figure out the plumbing right now im not 100% sure im doing it right.

Anyone ever use swan seal or gasoila. The gasoila came with a fuel tranfer pump i bought a couple years ago ive never heard of it.

Use a hole cutter on a drill not a dremil . If you make the hole only slightly bigger than the bulk head fitting you won’t need any sealant

I figured a hole cutter would leave a sloppy rigid hole in that plastic. Ill give it a shot. Thanks florida!

Yes you did. That was my setup before I got the trailer and buffer. hahaha.

The holes don’t have to be perfect for banjo bulkheads. I’ve used everything from a small drillbit as a makeshift cutting tool, to a jigsaw for cutting holes. Banjo bulkheads are the one thing I’ve never had issues with leaking. Just make sure you install the gasket(s) and nut in the proper places. I install mine with nut on the inside, and gasket on the outside of the tank. Cleaner look that way.
