Thinking about getting a new setup with a trailer

So because of the amount of pw that I do instead of window cleaning, I’m seriously considering getting a trailer setup with holding tanks, set up for cleaning roofs, etc…

What would you recommend?

I suggest you hurry up and get it…Season Is On Like Donkey Kong!!!

I’m not quite in the position yet. Gonna have to plan it out first. How much I’m gonna spend, etc…

Right now I’m working with 4gpm coldwater on the bed of my truck. No hose reels.

Have a plan…I like it.

Depends on how committed you are to this. 5.5 gpm or 8 ($2500-$3000) trailer (How big) Tank (Shouldn’t need more than 225 to start) Reels ($200-$280 per) Chem tanks…1-50 gal…1-35 gal…Fun to build but time consuming.

Buy a used rig and add on as needed.

Check out the “Water Dragon” at Paul K’s store.

Not to hijack the thread, but since you brought it up, what do you like about the “water dragon”, Guy? I’m curious to see what you think about it.

If you like working out of the back of a pick-up it seems perfect, plus I think you can add a roof set-up to it. Everything in a nice tight package. Slides right in. I’m sure Paul could configure that to a van set-up also.

Pretty well thought out package IMO.

Oh ok, I see what you’re talking about now. I thought you were talking about the Zeta pump system that they’re selling that’s also called the “water dragon”.

Definitely don’t want to work out of my truck anymore. Thinking 8 gpm. The trailer, I’m not sure of the size but I want it as small as possible (not a lot of room to put it at my house) and still get everything on it.

May it a 12’ trailer whether you have room or not, anything smaller “You’ll Kick Yourself”.

Yea I thought those “Package Units” were called water dragons, those are the ones I’m talking about. The Zeta System was pretty cool too!

What are you considering for a trailer Open or enclosed?

I don’t really have an overall preference. The trailer would be whatever the best deal is at the time. I think an enclsed would prob make me happier though

Firstly, an enclosed is more cash. Another thing to consider is your location regarding shipping. There are many options but at the end of the day it’s your the one gonna be using it, so dig deep within for the answers.

Being from Ma. I would highly advise you to go enclosed due to very low temps in the Winter.
