They just shut down our SH supply!

Big SH supplier in the Houston area (NAPCO) just shut down the supply for ALL pressure washing pick ups and deliveries… Pretty much they’re only supplying to to “public health and safety facilities” due to winter wonderland from last week… Any other fellow Houstonians have another spot they know of for some SH???

Sorry just saw this. Pinch a penny has 1000 gallon tanks and sells by the gallon @ $3.15 a gallon.

I get mine here for less that 2$ from pinch a penny

I pay $1.85 a gallon normally. But Florida is also much cheaper for SH than most places.

Kind of off-topic question but I do not like starting new topics. I have some OLD SH. My mother passed and we took several months off for mental reasons. SH is about 4 months old. I have a 5.5GPM machine. Can I still xjet it and be successful? Should I dispose of it somehow (how?) Or can I buy new SH and kind of mix the two together to strengthen it?

My condolences… I’m sure someone else more qualified will respond, but my understanding is that it looses its potency over time but eventually it stabilizes I think around 6% or something like that. I’m pretty sure you can use it, it just won’t be as strong. And yes you could mix it with new SH to make it stronger.

It’s fine to use. Sure, it will have lost some of it’s potency but it’s not completely broken down. Just think about how long gallons of bleach sit on the store shelves and at peoples homes.

It’s definitely fine to use but the difference between store bleach and SH is the additives to make it stable that long.

Again I’d use it. Just don’t expect 12.5% or whatever it started as.
