Iām pretty sure we just hijacked this thread.
Simpleā¦ payment terms, top 3 only.
Cashā¦ saves u trip to bank
Checkā¦ bank
CCā¦ 5%surcharge.
Payment planā¦ only if you know the client
Barterā¦
You bill, the client decides.
I do 3 barter orso a year, with my mechanic works best, then it us restaurants.
Most is cash and checks, 2 are CC
And 5 are on payment plans or credit.
How does getting cash save a trip to the bank? You still have to run it thru your business and pay tax on it. Thatās hard to do if you donāt deposit it
Easyā¦ you declare it when you do taxes
Seems complicated keeping it separate, but do what works for you I guess. Just curious.
I apologize if I took what you said the wrong way. Iām not here to argue or take over someone elseās thread. Everybody does what works for them. I was simply trying to state that in certain situations accepting credit cards can be beneficial. I hope everything continues to go well for you and your business. Hopefully before long spring will be here, weāll both be busy and I wonāt have a teething 6 month old keeping me awake all night.
Actually you can save the trip to the bank by doing mobile deposit through your bank app, simple as taking two pics of the check
You mean they donāt use rewards cards to leverage their purchases?
Iām sure they probably do. As I said, I do accept credit cards, I just donāt make it known or encourage it, unless someone asks because I donāt want to be paying for their rewards.
Same here. My apologies for being snarky.
I offer Paypal and Venmo and have never had a client not be able to one or the other.
ābuy tablets and put them on your data planā I think this is a good rout. I have not done that YET but most large and organized businesses seem to have their employees using business owned tablets, not the employees personal phone. To each their own though.
Tablets that can access 4g ate ridiculously expensive compared to wifi only tablets.
I use these two, and just added cash app as requested by a customer.
Venmo, PayPal, cash app, square, check, cash
I use Paypal which takes pretty much everything. Only about 1 out 20 use c/c though. I donāt encourage tho, much prefer a check.
Thereās two way to use PayPal. One involves a fee, the other doesnāt. Do you pay fees with PayPal?
Yes, I carry a swipe or just email them a link.
The swipe is something you got through PayPal?
I have the square swipe but didnāt know PayPal had one.
