House Washing 101: Aim your gun towards ground and pull trigger rather than towards the house or out in yard…if your j-rod is not seated into QC, it’s there on the ground in front of you…and you’ll never lose you’re j-rod again.

I do get using the sleeve to differentiate between two different gpm machines…but as some mentioned, the plastic dip or different colored spray paint works the same for cheaper

I think he has a market for it. This industry is growing quick. Guys starting out will buy 1.7 gpm machines to to clean Walmarts. They’ll buy these like hotcakes.

Agreed! I mean there’s a lot of pointless crap I’ve bought…I do think it’s a decent sellable product, but until I have 6 trucks and 12 , 8gpm machines and 12 employees I won’t worry about a JRod sleeve.

When you have them, you won’t sweaters then either :slight_smile:

I have a bungee on my gun attached to my jrod,
just like a surfboard attached to my ankle.
The sweater is just a wetsuit.

Now that actually makes sense to use. Someone ought to market it and call it the Tipcord.

I hook my hose up to my machine so I don’t accidentally lose it while I’m washing.

Shouldn’t the emergency room Doctors that will have to work extra hours be memorialized?

I prefer a 2-wireless Bluetooth hose. Don’t have to worry about any of that mess. Transmitter on the pump, and receiver on about an 8’ whip line connected to my gun, which is tethered to a lanyard on my neck so I don’t waste time looking for the dang thing.

I could definitely see it coming off with a 3,500 psi blast and swing back into someone’s face. On the flipside, I’ll bet you’d check the thing before every time you go to pull the trigger after that.

@Steve

I have 3 diy powder coating setups including the $500 from Eastwood, and the HF special. It’s hard to believe but the HF is by far the best. The others won’t durn the power down enough to get into some spots on irregular parts, the powder just sticks to the first area it comes to and piles up. I’ve used them off and on for 15 yrs.
also a Craigslist $50 used kitchen oven will do more than you think!

Neither can this rain we’re having in Georgia. It’s been 50’-60’s, but pouring down almost every day. Somewhere over 70" of rain in 2018. Twice as much as Seattle. May try to fish in the small pond that has now formed on the property right behind my house.
