Will my surface cleaner damage stained concrete like this? Hot water and a little EBC?

It shouldn’t. Just don’t crush it with hi psi going thru the surface machine tips. Jobs like this we use higher rated tips to bring the PSI down.

We also at times go with a larger fan tip as high as 40 degree’s in some cases(rare). Just don’t drill that concrete and you should be fine.

I agree with John but will add I don’t think you need EBC on a walkway. Downstream house wash, let dwell, use a variable psi wand (Duel wand) low psi rinse off. Personally I wouldn’t use a surface cleaner…just to be on the safe side.

I’ve done both methods. Preferred the house wash mix with low pressure rinse. My surface cleaner took some stain off a black stained drive way. Luckily I tested it before screwing up the whole thing.
