Stripped some pool deck yesterday

Started a driveway 3000psi 8gpm 2502 x4 whisper wash that went fine. Section of brick pavers went even better. When I did the pool area, did a small pass and noticed the water gray cloudy the home owner said it’s dirt keep going, told him, I think I’m stripping some surface off. He said no way it looks great keep going so kept going I didn’t feel good about it but they loved it.
Besides changing the nozzles can I just close the ball valve a little or will that jack the unloader or pump?

Friday I have exposed aggregate pool deck, lady tells me years passed it has been done with surface cleaners. Should I hit it with 2500 psi ?

You can throttle your machine down some, Also don’t let the coustomer tell you what to do, he may say keep going but what about the wife??? She might be un happy and you need to re do a pool deck!

Yes, you can close ball valve or throttle engine back.

Don’t let anyone tell you that you can’t “choke” it at the ball valve, that it will hurt the engine or pump…that is not true. There is no difference in the engine and pump being choked at the ball valve or at the surface cleaner nozzle …they are still being choked.
