The math is simple: there simply isn’t enough Bitcoin in the world for every one of today’s millionaires to own even ONE SINGLE BITCOIN. Much less all the future Millionaires waiting to be born.

If you are able to acquire even one BTC today: Enjoy the feeling.

You are an early adopter. And one of a select few.

Invest in Bitcoin and Litecoin all the others are trash. Bitcoin will change the way we buy and sell things in the future.

What is bitcoin backed by? Is it insured? What happens if the creator cashes in his shares all at once?

The dollar is not backed by anything anymore

Well, except the faith and credit of the country printing it. Another issue is the frequent hacking of bitcoin repositories. I am not saying is or isn’t the future. I frankly have no idea.

I got some Susan B Anthony coins I’ll sell for a buck fifty each

Bitcoin is backed by the people same as the US dollar. We determine its worth but we cant just print more because the economy needs more money there is a fixed amount of coins being mined on the blockchain which is a 100% secure and anonymous network. The creator of bitcoin has ghosted and therefore it is completely a decentralized network of currency no individual is in change and can control the rate.

will you or @squidskc send me a very laymen friendly site to buy stocks at? Bear in mind, I still haven’t figured out how to order an injector from dultmier so it needs to be simple enough for me. I think the last stocks we bought was Kmart and that was over the phone with her dad’s broker and a long time ago. I want the 5 in my family to each buy $100 in something and then just watch it. Is that possible on the internet?

Absolutely. I used to day trade on https://www.schwab.com

I found it user friendly but this was a decade ago. The other guys may have something better. When I traded I was playing the small pharmaceutical startups. The way it works for drug approvals is there are 4 phases of fda trials, passing each one gets you closer to approval. The closer you get to an announcement of the fda trial results, the higher the stock goes on anticipation. Smart money will buy months before the announcement and sell days before the final results are made public. Most were penny sticks. You buy at .50c, they run up to 2.50-5.00 right before the announcement. Greedy money will bet that they pass the trial and it will go up to $20 for 1000% returns. Personally I enjoyed the 4x-5x returns until one day I got greeedy and confident that the trial would pass and I would get my fat returns. I was wrong and lost a lot. Lesson learned was slow and steady wins everyday with this strategy of investing. Good luck

I’ll have to think about that. Vanguard is where all my long term money and retirement money is. But it’s all in the s&p index fund. Really reputable company and the index fund is the kind you buy and keep for 20+ years. I don’t speculate or take much risk with long term money.

For just stocks I use e*trade, but it’s not really a user friendly platform.

Totally.

I’ve got a 401, ira’s and a 529 but can’t really do much with them since I left the city. I just want something to do as a family project that isn’t complicated.

I tried to search for user friendly brokers, but wasn’t getting anything specific to ease of use. I’ve read good things about the Ally platform though for beginners.

So you can use Choose from a range of leading companies. Limitations apply.

If you sign up by following this link we will both get a free share.

With robinhood you can buy and sell shares with no trading fee!

I use my TDAM platform to monitor and do some buying but I use robinhood right on my phone for most buy/sell

Anyone who wants to sign up using that link feel free! We both get a free stock and it can be a small or very large. Just luck of the draw!

I sent you a txt where you can download the app and sign up.

Robin Hood is on your phone. I know we share some similarities, but I don’t know if you, like me, don’t like banking on your phone. I don’t know much about Robin Hood because of that, but financial transactions over the phone weird me out.

They have an online platform now! You can do it all on the net too. Then if you have the app and you want to monitor it you can.

Still too new for my taste and comfort.
