Startup Advice

Hi guys. Im new here. I have been reading for the last couple of days. I am considering starting up a residential washing business. I am just looking for some advice on what kind of equipment would one need to do so ( power washer, vehicle, chemicals, ect.). I have discovered “soft wash” and I am amazed at how well it works. It makes washing houses look quick and easy.

I work a full time job currently from 9-5. Would it be possible to pick up jobs in the evenings and on weekends? Does anyone else do this to make extra money? Would it even be worth the initial investment?

Thanks for the advice in advance! Like i said im new to this and am just trying to gain some knowledge from those more experienced to see if this is something worth pursuing.

Those are decisions only you can make based on your desire, background, etc. You ought to be able to determine basic equipment & cost from forums, suppliers, & YouTube. After that you gotta jump in & learn.

I have to agree with Dan. I am newer to the industry. I studied for a year on these forums and watching YouTube videos, talking to other professionals, and more before pulling the trigger. But when I did I felt confident in my skills and my setup to get my start. Everything else is a non stop learning experience. If you aren’t confident I suggest you keep doing your studying.
