Started my first trailer build

Need some help finishing off my first build (upload://tPhaIJvyJWQUsN0JhkNuysMycUy.jpeg)

I plan on direct feeding my 4gpm pump with 1” non collapsible poly hose with a y filter in line.
But my buffer tank bulkhead is receded and can’t come up with with anything to have access to my dump valve 3way as I added a hose reel rack.
I do plan on upgrading to 8gpm hot water soon

Anyone got any suggestions I would greatly appreciate it.

I’m not quite clear what is wrong with your buffer tanks bulkhead. Maybe some pictures.

Where the bulkhead goes into the tank I would need to find a way to access any kind of 3way for a dump valve as it is tucked up under the tank.

Once that pressure hose reel is spooled it will be near impossible to access

Another photo for better reference to location.

Just plumb it, then move the valve to an accessible spot. Basically run the PVC hose until you can access the valve.

That’s a great idea that makes a lot of sense. This is my first build so I’m sure I will find things down the road I will always want to improve on. I think it’s the nature of the business lol.

Thanks again

No problem. Easy to get lost in the weeds when you’re juggling everything. This forum is a wealth of knowledge and a great sounding board.

I’ve been reading and wondering if I jumped in head first. I went out and dumped big coin into a gen 3 Softwash skid 12v as well smh. Now time to get the money lol

At least everything is paid for LOL before I start.

You have 10 spots on that tank you can put a bulk head

You’ll get there. Just keep grinding. I’ve been washing for 5 months. The jobs

Trying to figure out all the licensing and insurance details now. It never ends man.

Preaching to the choir. Ha

Did you run out of room to mount that tank 90 degrees from how it’s sitting? If you haul even a little bit of water in there, it’s gonna slosh hard against the front every time you brake. The leg tanks are great when faced the other direction because the braking slosh is cut down massively.

You can put a bulkhead in any of these places

The front and rear of the tank legs are getting 4X8 L brackets front and rear to prevent tank from sliding forward and backwards. Then it will be strapped down where the bands are supposed to go. So I think I’m stuck going this route using the front center bulkhead access point in order to be able to fit in a y filter.
Looking to future proof the setup in preparation for 8gpm skid.

This was my second option. Still haven’t decided.

Tank will fit sideways but the run from the bulkhead to the pressure washer will be very short maybe to short to even put in my y filter and 3 way valve.

Turn it sideways. You have room for about 20 ft of feed line. You don’t need a 3 way on the feed line. You have a half dozen other options for a drain or additional feed line

That I can do I will just have to access the bulkhead on the other side of the tank.
