Sodium hydroxide mix ratio

I know the answer is on the forum somewhere but a search isn’t producing it. What’s a good mix ratio for sodium hydroxide to strip a stain and how should it be applied (downstream?)? Also, for the oxalic afterward, good mix ratio and application method?

Ditto

I am not an expert by any means. I am only in my second season, but I’ve done a lot of reading. If I recall correctly, you can downstream sodium hydroxide at 8-16 oz per gallon. And ox can be downstreamed at 10-12 oz per gallon (I’d check that) in warm water, for driveways and decks. If there is a pro out there that can verify or correct me, go for it. Hope that helps guys.

You really need to direct apply both, either with pump up or 12v. Mix for both, start at about 8oz per gal. Oxalic for neutralizing really shouldn’t have to go stronger.

Hydroxide may have to go a little, but not much stronger. Often just add a little, like 8oz Hydroxide to a gal of SH and some surfactant , fill rest of fiverr with water
