So Now What? How 'bout Windows

Gregg, I caught the implication when you posted and felt the sting that I knew would also affect Jordie. SO, let me state for the record: Jordie may or may not get paid to review products for WCR. Nonetheless, his integrity I would put against ANYONE here, I define integrity as always following through with one’s word. This requires honesty AND commitment. I’ll say that if you doubt Jordie’s integrity, you might want to take another look. If you want to know (and I couldn’t care less) whether he gets paid to show a product, just ask him. BUT, I can tell you with complete confidence that he will NEVER misrepresent. If something sucks, he will NOT endorse it.

Hope that clears this misunderstanding up for both of you , @Jordie and @Steve

It all goes in a Ford Econoline van. It’s pretty full but that’s what’s needed to be ready to handle whatever window cleaning throws at you. :no_mouth:

What misunderstanding?

The misunderstanding that you may have questioned Jordie’s integrity, and Jordie’s misunderstanding that you were referencing him when warning us about paid pitchmen. Hopefully, both were wrong.

I have no idea what you are talking about. Where did I question anyone’s integrity about anything?

First off I was replying to you, not Jordie.
HE then asked a question, which I clearly said NOTYOU and to call me instead of bringing it up on the board’s
He said he won’t call
Then he asked again so I replied.
I don’t have any misunderstanding. I just posted my views.
He never said he felt “stung” he was just asking my opinion, so why do you feel the need to jump up and clarify something for him when he is quite capable of doing it himself, if in fact he thinks I some how slighted him personally, which I did not do,
In reality I actually told him he did a nice job in his videos, so I really dont know why you feel the need to set me straight … But its an open forum… Knock yourself out.

I guess that @MrSparkleVA tagged me by mistake. I see now.

Sorry about that Steve.

Gregg brought up another REALLY important (yet overpriced) product for my WFP" That bronze pad attachment. SWEET!

I DO love my univalve, They’re $95 as of yesterday, 12/14/17 :scream:.

You all know I don’t do drama. If I percieve a slight where one was probably unintended, or where it shoudn’t have occurred, I might chime in, After all, I’m “the thick-skinned philosopher with a sordid past.” Don’t believe me, ask @Innocentbystander. He’ll tell you.

NOW would be a great time for Chris Lambrinides @Chris to announce a 30% discount exclusively for PWRA members to get involved in the window biz. How about it, Chris?

Next time I see them on sale I will forward it to you. I got an email about it. Maybe you should join their mailing list? Or sign up on the window cleaner forum? Not really sure how I signed up for the sales notices but I’m,happy I get them.

Brother, that’s where I started. I had to work both sides to get where I wanted to be, Today I get about 1/3 of my revenue from windows, and I treasure those windows indeed.

A friend of mine uses Velcro on the top side of his brush and sticks 0000 on it and that works ok

0000 sticks to velcro? THAT’s GREAT! WHoDaThunkIt?

We offer a good discount for members and as mentioned above Tucker brand stuff is 20% off this month.

We are always cutting deals at the end of the year. Drop us a line we can help.

Nice Chris, but an EXTRA incentive to get PWRA members to add windows to
their business might be just the push they need.

@Chris just offered a incentive. Adding a service to your business model because you got a freebie is a good way to go out of businesses.

Some folks like myself don’t want to do windows ever. No way. No how. You could give me window stuff for free and I wouldn’t offer windows.

Bugging someone for incentives to give to other folks is spending others money for an unlikely result. Sounds like a government program… gross.

It kills me that there are a million threads about charging high prices, low ball customers are not “my customers”, we need to get top dollar for our work etc. But, folks will spend a week trying to find an IBC tote 4 bucks cheaper instead of buying what they need. Or nickel and diming with vendors to save $50 on a pressure pro instead of investing in good equipment to begin with. I have never once asked the price on anything I have bought from my local Landa guy and I’m into him for at least $50k every year. Quit looking for discounts. Pay a fair price to the people that keep you in business. They have families to feed also. This isn’t meant for any one person. It’s for everyone on this board.

My most valuable vendors look after me despite my many stuff ups. They’re always happy to see me and when I have a quiet day to shop around… they are always better value. Never the cheapest but they are always the most worthwhile
