Screen Damage

I like where your headed. I’d prefer flatwork all day. About 50% of the jobs we do are house & Driveway Washing. I always take the driveway and front house. I’m not to the point of picking and choosing what type of jobs I do but I’m looking forward to it.

They need to modify the legs. Talking to them in the am. Thing almost worthless like it is. Look at Sidewalk Solutions 36" the way castors are versus WW. I really don’t think the guys at WW actually ever use their products.

They did same thing with Mondo and if even a 3/8 difference in concrete height you can hardly push it because of skirt resistance. Think anti-scalp wheels on a large mower.

Well you just changed my wish list fast. Thanks for the info

I just looked at the Sidewalk solutions it looks like it’s well built. mosmatic swivels are smooth

A third castor in the front solves that problem.

I’m pretty sure they’ll move the castor location if I special order. They agreed to on the Mondo. Not sure I can get the good price then though. If not then the Sidewalk Solutions 36" becomes a real viable option.

See my video about the 3:40 mark. I mention it a couple of other times in there too.

I’m going to dig into it some more. did 50k ft of concrete last week in a little under 2 days and that 24" surface Cleaner felt like a 16" after a while. lol.

I like that thinking, more and more I research, 8gpm is great with a hydrant or great gpm at the spigot

Yes the Allison 5.5 are putting out 6.

Built two of those and one 7gpm Allison

No hour meter but my 7gpm Allison/Predator combo has been ran 5 days a week, full work days since April with almost no issues (dirty check valve/easy fix)

The two 6 with predators have been going for the last month full time with zero issues.

Curious to see how they hold up, not to worried if they don’t. Have a belt drive and another gear drive at the shop for back ups

When the Allison from envirospec craps out and on a 2 week back order @Patriotspwashing .get the number off the pump and call Comet, they have hundreds stacked up like cord wood on pallets. Same REbranded thing. Thought this be helpful sir ., So says Dan Galvin

Yap…Allison throws a sticker on it and it’s a little bit cheaper.

Top pump manufacturers are all made in the same little city in Italy (coincidence? …don’t think so)

Just doing an experiment…I’m running Allison’s into the ground to see if they hold up, so far they are doing great. No oil changes, no nothing.

We run 3 of them, Monday - Friday 40 hour + weeks (not trigger time obviously)

Yeah ,they throw a sticker on everything. Largo makes all their hot washers. Bunch of bull. I get what your doing. Get it cheap and not pay the premium,Dan has a lot of catching up to do ta bring back business to envirospec

@Racer what would the advantage be for the mini mondo verses the maxima @8gpm?

Lot better cleaning, got 2 bars cleaning instead of one. those small bars going to turn faster and you’re going to get more coverage as you go along versus one big bar. I see those 36" ones for sale used all the time pretty cheap w/ no hours to speak of. People buy and then don’t seem happy with them. But big size for fairly cheap.

The 31" going to be like having 2 16" Classics bonded together, which is basically what it is.

Very nice. I was curious to see how that project turned out. Glad it’s working so well. After my machine went down the other day I have been contemplating buying another to sit in the garage as a backup. Might just give this combo a try since I won’t be rushed to get it up and running.

With the Predators?

Yeah, it will be a race to see what blows first

The Allison pump or Predator.

Biggest downfall I’ve noticed so far is that Predators eat through gas. Seems like twice as fast as a gx390

So far I’ve done nothing to either, besides break in oil change.

Interesting experiment. I think they’ll both do fine. What do you figure you have in each $1100- 1200?
