Same client contacted me for a quote again. How would you bid?

Here’s the back story. I advertise on facebook groups. Homeowner contacted me two days ago about quote. I quoted him on a house, driveway and fence. He said “I will get back with you next week” So today he contacted me again, asking for a quote on a house and patio. (same house) How would you bid on it? Would you bid higher so he would accept my initial quote? Would you bid lower to get the job or would you bid the same? And why?
My initial quote was on a higher side but still reasonable. I can go a little lower but he didn’t try to negotiate me down. What would you do?

Dont play games, just say i believe we talked the other day and i can resend you the bid if you would like.

Why not create 3 options for him for an opportunity to make money. Remind him of the prior quote. He first asked for the drive and fence with the house wash, now he’s asking for just the patio. Something like,

Hello Billy Bob,

Below I have created 3 options that you can choose based on the quote you would like today and the quote you received from us a few days ago. Let me know which option you would like to go with and let’s get you scheduled :+1:

  1. House and patio -$$$
  2. House, driveway, and fence -$$$
  3. House, driveway, patio, and fence -$$$ (walkway and front stoop free)

Something like that. Don’t turn down an opportunity or raise prices. Create bundle deals for an increased ticket. Throw in an incentive for him to choose the service that betters your pocket ( free walkway clean) etc.

Key is to upsell not up-price.

I offered him three options with discount on all three services if done at the same time. He is price shopping for lowest price. I gave him the same price. He agreed. Thank you folks for your opinions.

That was nice of you, but don’t try too hard for the price shoppers…
