ReClaim Units

Lets Talk Water Reclaiming. Who has it? What system? Has it been a worthy investment for you? How often do you use it?

I have the Fury DHTL System that I have just combined it with Robert Hinderliters Multitec reclaim setup. We use them for garages only to capture and filter out sludge probably between 30-60 days a year. Depending how many garages we get and how many days each one takes.

We also use the Fury Hot water Powerwasher for some commercial work that doesn’t need to have any vacuuming done.

If you get a couple of big jobs these reclaim setups can well be worth it.

Guys here last year made a killing doing hurricane Sandy Cleanup using their vac setups. We on the other hand had 3 garages to do in that time frame so they had to come first.

At the Albany event they had A class on this where a couple of guys talked about the jobs they did with their reclaim setups and the good money they made.

I’m thinking if ordering HT-RZV10E1Mobile Wash Recovery System online for a bus washing contract

If your going to do any type of fleet washing and you have any questions on what works best you can contact Mike Hinderliter and also visit his online store Pressure Washers Supplies and Power Washing Equipment For Mobile Powerwashers From Powerwash com He is the true expert dealing with fleets and there is nothing he doesn’t know on how to get the job done with excellent results and also dealing with any type of reclaim issues that may go with the territory.

You need to fill out your signature in your profile so we know who were talking to. Where like a family here trying to help each other;)

We have done very well with our filtration system.

In Fact, without it, we would only be able to profit about 40-60% of what we currently make.

When it comes to filtration, it is important to have the correct size for the job at hand. For example, this filter that we are showing you here today would not be practical for a Drive- Thru. We would lose money.

You got some beautiful rigs Jim. Very impressive on the volume they can handle. For garage cleaning with reclamation involved I don’t think I seen yet a more powerful filtration system then you have even though you say George P. Has some wild rigs himself that can handle high volumes of filtration as well.

Thanks John.

I know these rigs aren’t for everyone and in most cases would not be used in light commercial or even small garages.

We had to up size the capacity of the filtration units for us to clean faster. Simply, the average 19 GPM was not cutting it for us.

We do have a few mid to large volume filtration units in our fleet (20 GPM to 55 GPM).

This unit above is able to hit over 55 GPM’s for 8 (+/-) hours in most Parking Garage Deck, Deep Cleaning, applications. However as the filter becomes saturated with discharge product, like all filtration units, it will slow down on the GPM’s output. It is not uncommon to have filtration units clog up by as much as 40-70% of the total GPM Output depending on what they are filtering.

Because of this " Slow Down" your cleaning speeds will have to be readjusted so that you do not over taxi your clogged filtration (slower) output.

A good rule of thumb that most AHJ’s in MY AREA are coming up with is 1.5 of your total washers GPM’s. So if you use (2) 5 GPM washers, then you will need to provide a 15 GPM filtration unit.
