Question About Roof Cleaning (rain related)

Thanks in advance for the help guys. So we’ve been cleaning roofs for a couple of months now. And in actuality have not done as many as we could have because we’ve been so busy this year.

My question is will it work to clean a roof if it has rained prior in the day? We have a roof clean on the schedule for this afternoon and it is currently raining. It is not supposed to keep raining throughout the day, but I was just wondering if the shingles being wet made any difference in the effectiveness of the roof clean?

Should I reschedule this roof cleaning job because the shingles will be saturated and wet from this mornings rain?

Saturated and wet is not a good thing. Warm and breezy, with a couple of hours since the last shower, we’re on it.
