I was considering adding a link to a pdf file of my Wuhan Virus safety policy. A few questions:
Should I do this, or might the mention of the Wuhan Virus make them less likely to convert?
If I do it, should I make the link sensible but discreet, or should I make it big and obvious? For example, I might just have a simple text hyperlink the same as the rest of the site that says “COVID-19 Safety Policy.” Or, I could put a big red stripe across the page and drop the text inside that stripe. Thoughts?
I’m trying to make sense of what your asking. Is it a waiver, blog, news update, general safety tips. What does your “wuhan virus safety policy” refer to?
No conspiracy theories here, those are official numbers though some of them are a few days old now so there might be new data available. Do as you wish.
First off, I wouldn’t call it the Wuhan Virus. Call it CoronaVirus or COVID-19 like everyone else.
All the major companies are putting out notices regarding the virus: to what extent it’s impacting their services and hours, as well as what steps they’re taking to protect themselves and their customers.
They’ve all put a lot of thought and money into making a response that will have the most benefit to their companies (or mitigate economic damage to the extent possible). I would follow their lead, and adapt one of the many emails you’ve received over the last couple weeks, to craft your own notice.
