JUst out of curiosity, what does the 20% represent?

20% is for unexpected time on the job. I try to put a 30 to 50% padding when I can.

Nice…never would’ve thought of that.

What’s your hourly rate?

Approximately $85/hr. But this is not my full time job, yet. I’m currently in a classroom teaching for about $26/hr. Trying to build my clientele to the point that I can eventually quit my teaching job and just do this.

These are in a business park, do you think the owners would consider getting these washed? They look filthy

No one here can tell you that. Go ask them and stop asking us. If you need advice on how to approach them then ask away, but asking if we think they would want them washed is silly. We don’t know those people.

I couldn’t begin to advise you on that, considering all I am currently doing is residential. I would say approach either the owner or the manager and speak to them, but I would advise getting the opinion of more seasoned individuals on here.

What I’m trying to say is do company’s in business parks usually pay out for pressure washing.

No idea, but why not ask them anyways?

Rarely, but all you can do is ask. They often will if they have a heavier than rest of tennants traffic in a strip center

Try to speak to the decision makers and like everyone is trying to tell you is that the worst thing that can happen from you asking is NO!

Just think of it like dating and the business you want to wash is a hot women. Go up say hi, offer your services and if she says okay then cool, if not then just find another women who wants your services.
