It was you I was thinking of. I almost mentioned your name but wasn’t positive it was you. I only remembered half of your idea so figured zip ties would hold it on there… Is it a pain to spiral cut that hose?

You get good at it lol. I can do about a 6’ length in a couple on minutes. Don’t slice a artery. You’ll go through blades fairly quickly.

I’d be a bloody, mad mess @dperez .
Don’t they sell them spiraling wraps fairly cheap for mister fancy pants @grizz .

I just seen some spiral wraps at a local place.

We have the same machine and 2 weeks ago all 4 of mine busted. Only place that I could find them was Oriely Auto Parts and not all stores carry them and each store only has 1 - ended up having to go to 4 different Oriely’s to get all 4 replacement belts - it was on the weekend and no real supply houses were open either.

They sell it sure but it’s about $5 a foot. Too rich for my blood. It’s polyurethane though which is just straight fancy

Wow! I’ll stick with my free fire hose and HF zip strips then. We’ll let the fancy smancy house washers buy that stuff

I’m curious how he mounted those poly valves inside the box. I’m using zip ties right now for the machine without a remote

@Harold I’m wanting to do this with my 200ft hose when it wears out. I went to a napa store and the guys barely wanted to look up from their computers to answer my questions about crimping new hose ends.

Can I have some contact info on your guys if you dont mind?

I stock up on spare parts during the winter mostly. They start dropping prices pretty good about now. Also stock up on summer weather gear. Chems are starting to drop as well

Sure thing. Napa was useless for me as well. I blew a hose on Saturday and neither of the normal companies I deal with were open. I called a few Napa’s and it almost feels like they have an attitude when you ask them.

Hose guys - Metairie
Or
Fabachers - Harvey

Most O’Reilly auto parts do small hoses like ours. I usually go to farm services around here.

Rural king has all kinds of hoses and odds and sods, if you have one in your area. Ive spent farrrrr to much money in ours since it opened.

Never been in one! But everyone that has loves them.

We got a harbor freight a few months ago and they have been great for cheapy stuff like plastic, sandpaper and the like.

Would you mind giving me some model numbers or dimensions. I’d like to order online without removing the currently installed belts.

Yea, I think we got ours relatively around the same time. I guess it’s time. How hard/long were they to change out?
