Part Timer Build

Hey guys, thought I’d share my build here for all to see. Lots of great ideas from this forum helped me build this trailer and start to grow my business. I do this part time but I wanted to do it right from the start. I’ll list some details below…
Trailer- 14’ Big Tex
Pressure washer- 5.5gpm 2500psi from Pressuretek
Reels- general pump 450’x3/8 from pressure washers direct
Pressure hose- 400’ Goodyear nonmarking
Supply hose- 200’ flexzilla with camlock fittings
Surface cleaner- whisper wash classic
Chemical jugs- 15 gallon from Uline
Spares of every fitting, clamp, filter, tip, tools, misc is in the tool box.
One tote is full of chemicals, guns, xjet
The other tote is window washing supplies

Overall I’m happy with everything so far and no major regrets. A 14’ trailer filled up fast for me but I like to be prepared and have everything I think I might need; also I wanted the business to be independent of the truck so everything had to fit on the trailer. The ladder is a Werner 17’ and I left room on the left side of the trailer for a 24’ extension ladder if I need it.
Any questions ask away!

Looks good! I’m going for an enclosed trailer so i have wall space (plus my area isn’t the best and i have no where to store it indoors). One thing i can suggest is that if you know a fab guy, you could have him build you a wall like rack on one or both sides so you can hang your ladders and surface cleaners on the side and this will free up your floor space.

I will likely add a rack as needed or eventually upgrade to an enclosed. We have a relatively low crime area but I made everything bolted down and lockable so I feel pretty good about it.

I read a bunch on here where people will tell you to get rid of as much PVC as possible and replace with hose. Their rationale is that with all the bumps, pvc will break. I’m not an expert, i’m not even a PW.

Where do you live where you have to lock down your surface cleaner and gas cans lol ?

I’d lose my key on the 3rd day
