Washed a place today and had some spotting on a door that wasn’t there before.
I didn’t use SH in this area because there weren’t organics present.
I do have a 3 way to pull SH or water and a remote ball valve to cut off DSI draw.
Anyone have an idea why it would happen?
Hard water?
Could be. This property was on tank water and I have had another job that was on tank spot up on aluminium frames.
This door was painted and felt different where the spots were to unspotted areas
It’s probably SH overspray. If you’re not intending on using SH in an area then keep that area wet at all times. Golden rule.
Only thing is the door is a few meters away from a side where I used SH and there was no overspray.
I’m going to stop using my remote ballvalve for a few jobs and see if this issue pops up again. Thinking it could be letting small amounts of SH through
I’ve seen it do that before and after a couple of hours it went away, it was just damp for some reason in those areas. Dried fine though….
