Old surface cleaner

Spied this on Facebook. Looks pretty darn old.

Looks like IBS’s first surface cleaner. Traded a milk crate full of apple jam for it.

Might be old but may not be a bad buy if it’s cheap enough and functional

Yeah, they want $150 for it. I doubt there are any parts available any more. Anyone know the manufacturer?

Looks like a12-15in… I wouldn’t bother wasting my time with it if I was you.

Looks very small. Unless it was almost free I wouldn’t bother.

Pretty sure that is a Be. Before they went to the current silver/yellow scheme. Before this painted blue they had anodized metallic blue handles with a yellow deck. Their swivels were machined aluminum too. I have a 20". Been using it for 15 years. Original bar. Have had a Suttner 2305 zip tied on it for years. I grease it every 50 hrs or so. Mainly residential. Full-time Fl. winters, part time during summer.
Think about that the next time you get all " Whisper Washy" on someone. Lol. Drove 30 miles on Monday to buy a WW Classic for $350. Guy said it had a new swivel, new deck and a new gun. The handle bars and bar were rode wet and hung dry lol and the swivel though fairly new looking had a few chips or more like chunks in it. The outer sleeve of the brass coupler was split and splayed open with about 2 millimeters left before it became a scud missile. Pass…I’d like to get one though…
