A 44-year-old man was struck and killed by concrete blocks while pressure-washing the wall of a building Saturday afternoon, according to the New Orleans Police Department.

The accident occurred around noon outside a warehouse in the 2800 block of Elysian Fields Avenue, said NOPD Officer Frank Robertson.

Roberston said it appears large concrete cinder blocks from a nearby construction site fell onto the man and killed him instantly.
The accident is under investigation. The identity of the man has not yet been released.

That is not good!!!

I just heard of a Dad and 2 boys that drowned or gassed in a manure pit near Lancaster PA. Glenn Nolt. Is sad!!

That’s terrible news. That’s not far from the French Quarter. Goes to show accidents can happen at any time.
