New Construction cleaning of parking lot and drive thru

Looking for some guidance on th following new construction :construction: project clean up.

Red clay is all over most of the concrete surrounding the building and the prepped areas are where the asphalt will be. The quote would be to wash it all down asphalt & concrete.

I saw where @GuyB shared in a post that they rinsed new construction off with a ball valve. I can get up to 10 gpm’s from 1 by connecting both machines, or I could run 5 GPM’s off 2 machines.

Question:

Would it be better to have the added volume 10 gpm’s or just run 2 - 5 gpm’s with the ball valve?

I am thinking just a clean water rinse but trying to get some feed back on what you guys think about time?

This would be my first but I don’t want to shoot myself in the foot. So I am respectfully coming to the experts in our craft.

Please advise

Thomas

Thanks to my supplier, who has been in the game for 22 years, he recommended $.07 per sq. ft. for the asphalt
and $.15 for the concrete. That is just for a rinse.

I just needed to get a tentative amount to the contractor for his approval. I appreciate all that gave feed back via email.

Thanks guys,

A rinse isn’t going to do squat on those mud stains other than get loose dirt off.

The new construction we did did’t involve red clay…Just rinsing will not remove the red clay on the concrete…Cleaning the Concrete will be delicate being it is a fresh pour…I would ball valve the loose clay off as much as possible first, then you will need to apply a mild acid to dissolve the embedded red clay…this being your “First Time” doing this I would be VERY careful with this project…I would seek out a veteran Contractor in your area and ask for help or guidance.
