New beast (the limarado)

LOL or it might not run at all!

I just did a bit of research and it looks like the synthetic has a higher flash point (duh) and most folks say it burns just fine but can be a little finicky when trying to relight. Some guys mentioned adding a bit of diesel to counteract that. I dunno. It’s yours if you want it LOL

That’s good stuff. I saw a video once where a guy ground some steel flat and then coated it with that stuff and let it sit outside his shop for a few days and nothing rusted.

How do you apply the fluid film to undercarriage of your truck?

You can buy the stuff in 5gal pails. I’d imagine a pump sprayer or even a spray bottle would work fine.

Creeper and a tarp laid over my body :joy:

I want to buy a lift but it’s hard to ask blaire when I keep spending money on different trucks every 10 months.

I had a 1 gallon pump sprayer that worked good for 1 truck then clogged up.

LOL yep it’s probably best to use a pump sprayer that you don’t care about.

You should really do some hunting on a good used lift. I found one the other day for $800 if you disassemble it. He wanted $1200 if he disassembled.

I can buy a brand new one for $1,600 with a warranty. Something like that I prefer new lol

No doubt. What’s the rating on that one like? Most the ones I’ve seen in that price range are only 7k capacity and I’d definitely want to have about 30% more than you plan on ever putting on it just for peace of mind.

Be a nice xmas gift from Blaire @SchertzServicesLLC

Wonder what the $600 difference is between the other Atlas right next to that one.

The pro models probably have the beefier stuff to pass the standards for commercial use. I called atlas and they said for my use I would be fine with the non pro but if I was lifting multiple vehicles a day to go with the pro.

Yeah I just looked it up and the Pro9D or whatever is actually only $300 more on their site. I’d spring for it just to have the better stuff.
