Early this week I washed a house where the lady had my name referred to her by a local siding company. I have never done work for this company and didn’t know anyone that worked there.
Today on lunch I brought them a big box of store bought cookies and some business cards. I thanked the manager for the referral and he said it must have been one of his guys. He said “we see algae and dirt on homes every day when were out doing window installs or siding repair”. He said he would pass my name along to all that he could and I took a stack of his business cards and told him I would do the same when I saw cracked or damaged siding.
Just wanted to point out today’s events as a great local networking tool.
