My world has stopped

My heart is broken. My family is broken. My baby boy Justin would have turned 21 on Wednesday but Type 1 Diabetes took him from is this morning. He was a beautiful human being and my joy. He had is mother’s intelligence and a beautiful smile. He accomplished so much in his short time with us. He knew Christ as his Saviour. He was the best big brother ever. He was our son. The tears won’t stop.

I’m sorry for your loss. In the 25 years I’ve lived in this world I’ve noticed that the best people often leave early. Take care during these hard times and find comfort in your sons faith. In Christ is a love stronger than death.

My heart and prayers go out to you my friend. No words.

I’m sorry to hear that man. Really sorry. It is so good to hear that your son knew Christ. Because of this, he is in a place far better than here, knowing pleasures and happiness beyond what we could even imagine. I will be praying for you and your family.

“But we do not want you to be uninformed, brothers, about those who are asleep, that you may not grieve as others do who have no hope. For since we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so, through Jesus, God will bring with him those who have fallen asleep.”
1 Thessalonians 4:13‭-‬14 ESV

I’m very sorry for your loss.
I don’t know how it feels, but having lost both parents as a teenager, also suddenly, all I can say is that life goes on and finds a way. Take time to grieve and do it any way you feel like is correct.

I am very, very sorry to hear this William. Deepest condolences from my family to you and yours. Stay strong.

Gut wrenching to hear. I’m so sorry.

That’s terrible, I’m so sorry for your loss. :disappointed_relieved:

Terrible news. I offer my deepest condolences.

People will tell you ‘it’ll pass’ and ‘he’s an angel now’ but it won’t help your grief of a lost son. My wife lost her daughter ten years ago and she has PTSD from it.

Grieve on your own terms, take up people’s offer to help if you need it, remember all the good things and times you had with him. Talk with his friends and find out if they have pictures and videos.

Grief never stops, it just gets managed. Very sorry to hear this happened to your son, my Dad died from diabetes complications as well.

Very, very sorry to hear.

Glad that he knew Christ as his Savior. It still stings a lot though and that’s ok.

Praying for you and your family.

Anything that we here on the forum can do for you?

So very sorry for your loss. You and your family will definitely be in our thoughts and prayers.

So sorry to hear this news. You and your family will be in my prayers.

That’s terrible news…very sorry for your loss. I personally don’t understand the pain of losing a child…but my sister lost her son at 23 a few years ago and I saw her pain. Sorry to hear this.
