My miscallenea

It’s a pressure regulator. I use it to shoot downstreamed chem out of any tip.

Got a link?

How do you rinse then

I don’t right now, it’s a Suttner though. Regulator + Kew plug.

Ahh ic see your still useing nozzels and pressure to provoke soap. Does that mean your rinsing with high pressure?

Depends. If I want to rinse 3rd floor, then I do need high pressure.

Anyhow, anybody use something like AT-205 for your hoses? Any point to it?

The 2315 will help alot, but it’s the resistance of the pressure that kills the most… Specially using guns with only a QC and Jrod those kick back pretty hard… I already suffer from tennis elbow

I’m stumped, what is it?

It’s AT-205 Re-Seal, an automotive product for rubber gaskets and such. It helps keep the polymers “fresh”, prevents cracking and so forth.

Oh, you mean vaseline ;>)

Anybody know if the orientation of quick connects matter? I.e. should the male be going with the flow (water -> male qc - female qc ->)?

What do you guys do for seizing quick connects? File them down? I have stainless qcs that I cannot get apart sometimes. Are they defective? Bad chinesium?

Male always leads, except for the 1/4 female leading from the gun. Couplings are a bad idea in general on the hose. If you don’t but continuous length hose, at least join your sections with a union. Never put any type of lubricant in or on a coupling.

How about them camlocks in pressure lines? @squidskc

Won’t work.

Dang. Ever use M22?

What are you trying to accomplish? Camlocks aren’t high pressure so you can’t use them for pressure lines. Sure, you can use M22 but why not just use 3/8"? They have M22 to 3/8" adapters.

I’m just looking at options. I have 3 25m (80?-ish feet) lengths of hose. The hoses themselves have M22 connectors, which right now have the QCs on them. Not a huge fan of the QCs, they keep seizing up. They’re PA manufacture too, so IDK if this is normal. Worst problem really is at the gun.

I forgot you’re in Sweden or somewhere over there, correct? You having M22 makes sense then. I didn’t really think about that. A lot of homeowner pressure washers have M22 fittings here in the States for some reason but professional washers are all 3/8" so that’s all we deal with. The gun is 1/4" though. Anyways, search for “M22 coupler”. I would just connect those 3 sections of hoses together without using quick connects. There’s no reason to use quick connects there. The only time you might need hoses connected using quick connects is if you just need to add another section of hose every now and then to reach a longer distance. Look at the hoses so you know what coupler to get such as female to female, male to male, or female to male.

As far as the quick connects not releasing easy some guys spray silicone spray on the balls. You shouldn’t really have to though. They’ll eventually wear out and not release as easy but they should last for quite awhile before that happens. If you’re ever just down streaming sh to pre-treat a driveway or something always be sure to flush with clean water afterwards.
