Multiple Domains and Landing Pages

So I am new to this landing page stuff and i’m wondering if any of you use wix.com to build landing pages? I recently built some 1-page landing pages for each service I offer (pressure washing, window cleaning, gutter cleaning, roof washing etc…) and I was thinking about buying separate domains for each landing page. Examples of domains would be like windowcleaningcity.com or pressurewashingservicenearme.com… I am trying to create some sales funnels to go to my actual site with keywords located in the domain name. Is this worth pursuing or will it end up hurting my SEO by having multiple domain names all linking to my main website?

Like I said newbie here to building landing pages so any help would be good. Thanks.

IMO landing pages are good for Facebook ads and google ads, have the follow through link be a landing page that is tailored to the offer or sale you were advertising for and related.

As fast as penalizing you? I really don’t know…

I was a domain hoarder for quite some time. Maybe 3-4 years ago I found it far more productive to sink my efforts into one or 2 killer websites than spread it thin.

I hear ya. I feel like my website is looking great but i’m always searching for new ways to funnel people in organically. Landing pages was just one of the ways I heard of.

Your website does look good.

Thanks Harold, lots of hours spent working on it

I like the house watching service. Never actually thought about that but not a bad idea. Are you finding it to be a successful service?

Just put the landing pages within your main site. Just make sure they’re a little different for each city. Keywords within the domain name not nearly as effective as they were even 3-4 years ago. Google keeps getting smarter. In fact they’ve claimed for 4-5 years not effective at all, but they weren’t being completely truthful, but they’re getting there.

Unless you’re running a serious Adwords campaign you’ll get more mileage by really building out your primary site.
