I got a job to clean a metal roof for a customer house and pool barn. Neither look very dirty but does look to have oxidation. I’m used to shingle and tile where I can put sh on. Rinse and be done. From reading on non painted metal sh is corrosive and will rust it.
My question is many people say use cleansol bc at a 4:1 ratio. If I go this route do I need to brush it on or just spray, dwell 10 min and rinse?
Can I make a pre mix batch in my soft wash 26 gallon tank and run that stuff through my 12v bleach pump?
I have also heard another route to go which is more work is to make 70/30 mix of awesome la and brush it on and rinse. The awesome route would be more work but less product cost.
What is your option on how to clean the metal roof 3000sqft low pitch easy to walk roof. That won’t cost a ton and please explain what systems you would use.
