Lori was right and now i have to re-plumb the truck

No. It is there for a purpose.

I would suggest you get rid of the air leaks, get rid of the bleach tank with the bung hole at the bottom.

I know we will be replacing that bulk head once a year!

If you throw it away now and put the proper tank in you wonā€™t have to replace it every year or have a leak going down the road or in a customerā€™s driveway

Plumbing is the easy part. Just apply sunblock daily to all pvc parts. Jk.

I wish you said just kidding before i ordered 30 gallons of sun block. Way to go

Either that, or hire a plastic fabricator to weld the hole shut.

Out in the job now, did all recommended things, rerouted returns, switched to flex hose and still surgingā€¦ rex said he thinks its pulling air from the other side but i see no air bubbles in my feed hose

I bet itā€™s this! Does your tank have threads and a cam lock area?

All those connections look like a plumbing advertisementā€¦

You should have two connections.

One from the buffer tank, and one to the pump.

The more connections, the more potential issues.

I had a rubber fernco for awhile on an old tank with stripped threads on the buttress, never caused a problem. Was a 5.5 gpm unit.

Take a step back and loook at other variables other then plumbingā€¦is the unloader set properly? Belts loose?

Well guys i got fed up and stopped by a local pw repair shop who is a friend of mine and this is what he findsā€¦ says the valve wasnt seated correctly and the person who assembled it at pressure pro tightened the cap anyway. Im in the process of trying to get a full valve kit from them since we had to put a used valve in it

Iā€™m almost certain those guys just assemble the main components to a frame and install their own pulleyā€™s and drive belts . Why in the world would they be installing valves in a pump? They didnā€™t press the seals in it. Thatā€™s like saying they build the engine from a box of loose parts
